EUROPEAN GOLF BODIES TO PROMOTE ‘GROW THE GAME OF GOLF’ WEBSITE An influential team of Golf organisations which include The European Tour, FEGGA, PGA’s of Europe, CMAE, EGCOA, GEO, GCIA and EIGCA, have agreed to expand and promote the ``Grow the Game of Golf´´ website.   Indian Golf Suppliers Unite More than a dozen suppliers have joined together to form The Indian Golf Industry Association. They include golf course designers and suppliers of turf and irrigation equipment.   EGCOA Announces Launch of Spanish Owners Association The European Golf Course Owners Association (EGCOA) is pleased to announce the launch of the Spanish Golf Course Owners Association (SGCOA).   Grow the Game Project Strikes a Chord Across the Golf Industry The Grow the Game website, which launched in December 2010 at the European Golf Business Conference in London, has received overwhelming support and plaudits from across the golf industry.

Established in 2002, the European Golf Industry Association is an alliance of national golf trade associations supported by major brands.

The EGIA is run by a Council made up of representatives from each member country and is administered from the offices of The Federation of Sports & Play Associations (FSPA) in the UK.  

The EGIA is also a member of a group of pan-European golfing organisations who meet to discuss issues of common interest and concern.

This group includes the PGA’s of Europe, the Club Managers Association of Europe, European Institute of Golf Course Architects, European Tour, European Golf Association, European Golf Course Owners Association and the Federation of European Golf Greenkeepers Associations.
